Umi Sushi & Grill in San Rafael

We ordered a la carte from the Japanese and Chinese menus: very good steamed ramen and ravioli, the fish is eaten well. Prices ok. Friendly staff and reasonable service.

Warm and welcoming environment with good food and more than satisfactory quality: the only sushi in the country is undoubtedly a great choice for a good lunch, whose price is € 13.99 with an all you can eat formula, but also for the dinner, a few euros more. The staff is courteous but sometimes a little disorganized and in difficulty in the most agitated phases, but absolutely recommended.

Really excellent restaurant, even better than almost all the Japanese restaurants in Florence. But for the drop in portion of many dishes and the price increase for lunch, for me it loses two stars, let's see if it will get worse over time, for now we are unfortunately on that road ...

Fast service and sushi in general is good.

The location is easy to reach as the free train station parking is available nearby. Well furnished place, cozy atmosphere, possibility to stay outside. I noticed the excellent quality of the food compared to the same dishes consumed in other Japanese restaurants.

You can eat well, you could do much better ... a little "cold" place

In this tiny village unexpectedly fresh and delicious Japanse food and a big terras to enjoy your sushi outside. All you can eat for just under €25 . Good , super fast and knowledgeable staff that serve with a smile and speak several languages. For me easily the best choice to eat in Pontassieve!

I often go there with my children who are really greedy for sushi ... we also made the card and every hundred points there is a € 5 discount excluding the weekend .. The cost is moderate: € 13.90 for lunch € 22.90 for lunch (with a wider choice of dishes) all you can eat.

I must say that after opening this restaurant has improved a lot, especially in quality, being an all you can eat porsioni are not abundant but better so you taste a little of everything. I also liked the fish ramen. Recommended

I think they have the most greasy ravioli in the history of all you can eat (in Shao Mai there's something like a liter of oil) but nothing to say about flavor because in the end they are very tasty!The restaurant is large and nice; as for the staff it depends on who you need, some are prepared and very kind, others more inexperienced and unfortunately understand and speak very little Italian so it happens that there is some misunderstanding with the orders!However absolutely approved

The staff is courteous and helpful, the environment is renewed, there are also high chairs for children.The choice is reduced in the lunch menu but heterogeneous, ranging from sushi to Chinese, from ravioli to fries.Unlike restaurants with a similar menu choice, sushi is excellent, quality fish and plenty of hosomaki. There are limitations (1 order per person) in sashimi and hosomaki with philadelphia.Average prices with all you can eat and take away menus.There is the possibility to accumulate points, with some promotions for example for the birthday, and exchange points with objects of various kinds displayed in the display cabinet at the entrance.

Then the Umi restaurant is right at home.Almost 1/2 times a month I go there to savor the real Japanese food, but I would go there many more times if the prices were a bit 'at your fingertips ... Tasty dishes and optimal price

Local of recent insertion in the context of Pontassieve, it stands out for quality and service. Prices in line with the other restaurants of the Florentine area on the same genus. Bring both Chinese and Japanese cuisine with some reinterpretations. Open until late, staff always polite and correct. Recommended!

The restaurant is beautiful and elegant. The right prices. The menu is vast. Some dishes are really delicious like the salt and pepper prawns, the udon with prawns and vegetables, the fried prawns with lemon, the rice with vegetables and the california roll. The service sometimes sins but is discreet. Recommended

Good sushi and Chinese cuisine in Pontassieve. The dishes are good and the portions not overdone. At lunch the service is a bit slow and discontinuous while at dinner it is much more efficient.

The place is very pretty oriental and brings back much to the Japanese environment. The staff is very courteous and professional even if some things that they say are not very well understood, and some things we ordered have not arrived and the wait between one dish and another is about 10-15 min (maybe pk yesterday there were many people ). Very good food the menu varies from Chinese to Japanese, although in the Japanese menu there is not much choice we have more choice in the Chinese part. The portions are right but above all the huramaki are small with 8 pieces so you can try others. The fish was fresh and melted in the mouth especially the sashimi which had an abundant cut and was delicious. Recommended dishes: huramaki ebiten and salmon sashimi. I recommend at least for lunch to book around 12; 12 15 pk later in addition to full restaurant between waiting time and eating closing time. I recommend the restaurant to add more choices to the sashimi and the Japanese menu.

Best sushi I've had in Tuscany so far. The only thing that was horrible was the raw shrimp (extra 4-5 €). Otherwise, the food was delicious, the decor was nice and the service was fast.
